Haryana, May 05 (KNS) : Student Leader and National Convenor of Jammu and Kashmir Students Association Nasir Khuehami here today stressed the need for secular forces to unite and work together to bring better times to the country. He said that communal forces are trying to destroy the social fabric and secular nature of India, and a larger unity against these forces is required.
While saying these remarks during his three days outreach visit to Haryana state, Khuehami said that, India is the world's largest democracy, and the unity of secular forces is crucial to protect and strengthen democratic institutions. Secularism is one of the key pillars of democracy, and the unity of secular forces can ensure that democratic ideals are upheld in the country. This unity is necessary to build a progressive society that is inclusive, equal, and just. It can also provide a strong voice to demand reforms in areas such as education, healthcare, and the environment.
Khuehami emphasized the need for unity of secular forces in India, as the country has a complex social structure with a diverse population. The unity of secular forces can help promote social justice and fight against caste-based discrimination, religious intolerance, gender inequality, and other forms of oppression. The rise of communalism and religious fundamentalism poses a major threat to the secular fabric of India. Some communal forces are trying to break the diversity and bring one religion & one caste in the country. The unity of secular forces is necessary to counter this divisive and polarizing ideology and uphold the principles of secularism enshrined in the Indian Constitution.
Choudhary Aarez Khan, a prominent youth leader from Haryana, also spoke about the importance of the unity of secular forces. He highlighted that this unity is essential to protect the rights of minorities in India, like Muslims & Dalits, who have been facing discrimination and violence in recent years. The unity of secular forces can provide a strong voice to demand justice and equal rights for all.
