Srinagar, September 28 (KNS): Secretary Tourism Department today reviewed the functioning of all Tourism Development Authorities with their respective Chief Executive Officers here at SKICC.
Secretary Tourism asked Chief Executive Officers to ensure cleanliness and ensure no use of Polythene in their respective destinations. “The Chief Executive Officers should identify dumping sites and submit a complete proposal for solid-waste management” he said.
He also asked Chief Executive Officers to prepare future plans of their respective destinations which will accommodate club house, convention centres, light and sound show, high-end camping accommodation and parking.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
Mr Shah also reiterated that the major thrust shall be given to establishment of food courts, camping sites and adventure sports activities like Zip Traversing, Zip line, mountain climbing and establishment of base camp for Trekkers so that Eco based activities are encouraged at various tourist destinations.
The Secretary also called upon development authorities who have yet to submit their master plan to expedite the same and ensure its timely completion and submission. (KNS)
