Srinagar, Feb 21 (KNS): The secretary Tourism, Farooq A Shah on Tuesdaytook a review meeting on VC video conferencing with CEO's of tourism development authorities of Kashmir region and stressed for the implementation of works programme under CSS centrally sponsored schemes, PMDP (Prime Minister Dev program)and PMRP (Prime Minister Reconstruction plan ).
According to the statement issued to KNS, the CEO's updated and informed the Secretary tourism about the present status of works and future plan of action in the eve of coming summers.
The secretary instructed the officers to work with more speed to compensate for the time lost last year by keeping the respective destinations clean and hygienic with all kind of facilitation for the visiting tourists and for the local people as well.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
He urged the officers to be strict about encroachers and use their delegates’ authority to demolish and act sternly against the violations.
The CEOs were told by the secretary to complete the tendering and other Vidal formalities under norms by the end of February so that March onwards will be utilized fully for developing the tourism infrastructure and facilities in the state to realize the vision of late Mufti Muhammad Sayeed to make J&K as one of the best Tourist destination in the world.
