Srinagar, Jan 01 (KNS): To encourage youth for taking up professional courses in catering and hospitality sector the secretary tourism urged the youth to take up different skill upgradation and professional training courses in hospitality sector which has emerged as one of the economically rewarding sector in the recent times and such courses have worldwide scope for employment.
The secretary tourism was distributing stipend cheques and certificates to 25 students who have completed the different short term courses under Hunnar say Rozgaar scheme with the help of Ministry of Tourism GOI.

The food and craft institute has been established to groom the young talent for restaurants, hotels, food production industry, and has already supplied the trained human resource to hotel industry baking and food production industry in Bangalore, Mumbai, Chennai and gulf countries.
The secretary assured the management and the students of the said institute all sort of support and facilitation so that they can train themselves professionally and establish their own self economically and socially as well. (KNS)
