Secretary Labour & Employment expresses gratitude to LG Sinha

Srinagar, Aug 04 (KNS): Secretary, labour and employment department, Ajaz Ahmad Bhat (IAS), on Thursday extend his gratitude to Jammu and Kashmir’s Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha for inducting 16 local officers into Indian Administrative Service (IAS). 

Speaking to Kashmir news service (KNS), Bhat while terming the development as historical step and said that it was a long-standing demand. "We are grateful to the LG manoj sinha, Chief Secretary Arun Kumar Mehta and principal Secretary Health & Medical Education (H&ME), Manoj Kumar Dwivedi who took this initiative on right time," he said. 

He futher instructed the other officers to do their work honestly. The government is with us and promotions are being given on time, he said. 

This has been made possible due to the tireless efforts of Arun Kumar Mehta, Chief Secretary, J&K, and Manoj Kumar Dwivedi, Principal Secretary, General Administrative Department (GAD) under the guidance of the Lieutenant Governor, Manoj Sinha, he said. 

On Wednesday, the Government of India inducted 16 officers of Jammu & Kashmir into the prestigious. 

The Department of Personnel and Trainings, Ministry of Personnel and Public Grievances and Pensions, Govt. of India today issued a formal notification for the appointment of members of the Jammu and Kashmir Administrative Service (JKAS) into IAS-(KNS)
