Srinagar, Dec 29 (KNS): The secretary tourism, Farooq A Shah Thursday reviewed the ongoing developmental projects of tourism and floriculture sector in a marathon meeting.
The meeting according to the statement issued to KNS was attended by the five directors each of Jammu Kashmir directorate of Tourism and Floriculture and Director SKICC, the CEOs of all tourism development authorities of Jammu region and those of Kashmir were interactive via video conferencing, the secretaries of RSGC and Jammu Tawi Golf course were also in the meeting which lasted for five hours.
The secretary tourism and floriculture Farooq A shah emphasized on the timely completion of the development projects all over the state and urged the officers to achieve the target on time without any escalation in the cost which will not be accepted at all.
“The CEOs of the authorities were told to gear up for the next financial year and maintain the resorts with international standard of cleanliness and hygiene the secretary shared the vision and keen interest of CM for execution of the projects under PMDP and PMRP with no compromise on the heritage and eco friendly environment in the said destinations for which the CEOS should seek expert advice and professional consultation,” the statement reads.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
It further adds that the officials of floriculture department were instructed to make the gardens and parks vibrant fresh and beautiful as these are the lungs of any town and city and suburban localities, the tow directors were told to strictly make the parks tempting and attractive by all means with adequate cleanliness and illumination to facilitate the people for utilizing the beautiful ambience in such parks and gardens.
The secretary Tourism and floriculture said that “we all have to work with passion to execute the vision of Mufti Mohd Syed for making JK as one of the best tourism destination in the world.” (KNS)
