Srinagar, Sep 10 (KNS): Society of Dental Surgeons, J&K (SDSJK) in an emergency and extraordinary meeting with President Dr. Imtiyaz Banday in chair took serious note of gross bungling in SDC elections wherein various bearers took part. SDSJK condemns such deplorable actions in strongest possible terms. SDSJK urges upon election authorities to withhold the counting process and announcement of results.
Pertinent to mention here that multiple incidents of hijacking of votes was reported from post offices from the onset on which SDSJK took strong note and highlighted the issue to the maximum possible limit wherein a memorandum regarding flaws and bungling was sent to Hon'ble Health & Medical Education Minister.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
Moreover, President SDSJK had also apprised the returning officer way back about the same and SDSJK left no stone unturned to highlight this grave issue as ordinary post in no way was the secure method of conducting free and fair elections.
SDSJK is in touch with legal experts and is going to take legal recourse so to get these farcical elections declared void abnitio. It has also has decided that all the possible steps in this regard will be taken and shall stress authorities for starting new fool proof election process. In this context SDSJK requests all stakeholders to come ahead and join hands to fight this grave issue together. (KNS)
