Kupwara, 17 May (KNS): In view of the evolving covid situation Sub-Divisional Magistrate Lolab Aijaz Ahamd Bhat chaired a meeting to discuss certain issues, relating to increasing cases of Covid, implementation of Covid guideline. 

He also directed the concerned to speed up the awareness drive among the general public to follow the guidelines to avoid becoming infected.
Addressing the meeting, the SDM Lolab asked Officers to strictly ensure guidelines for containment of Covid-19 in view of the recent spike of Covid cases in the Sub Division. 

Implementation usage of masks, social distance and roater for essential commodities shops which has been already issued should implement and he also direct Magistrates offence shall be imposed on violators. who are not following Govt.

Directions and also those who are violating lockdown which is placed already in Sub Division. It has become imperative to ensure cent per cent usage of masks in the Sub Division to minimize the chances of a further spike of Covid-19 cases.

Meanwhile, Tehsildar Lalpora/Sogam, Block Medical officer sogam, Naib Tehsildar Tekipora, Naib Tehsildar Sogam, SHO Sogam and  I/C SHO Lalpora was also present on the occasion and discuss the necessary measures to be taken for raising awareness among the general public to follow Covid-19 SOPs laid down by the government.
