Karnah November 09 (KNS) : Amid heavy snowfall on Toli top, Sub Divisional Magistrate Karnah Dr. Gulzar Ahmad Rather took an extensive tour of the remote village Jaldi Bajaldar near to the Line of Control (LoC ) to take stock positions including rations and other essential and also inspected various developmental projects.
SDM Karnah visited Forward Jabdi, Bijaldhar a village along LoC to check the stock position including Ration and other essential commodities the SDM accompanied by all Sub division department heads.
During the extensive tour of the remote village SDM reviewed the power supply scenario, availability of drinking water, status of essential commodities and healthcare services available in the Public Health Centre, SDM Karnah Dr. Gulzar Ahmad Rather met people and interacted with them to enquire about restoration of essential services.
The SDM heard them patiently and discussed the issues raised in the meeting, with the concern departments The SDM gave on spot directions to the officers for time-bound resolution of the demands, so that the people living in these areas get benefited.
Reviewing the stock and supply position, the TSO Raja umer khan was informed that sufficient stock of rice and other essential commodities has already been dumped which is sufficient and will cater the requirement of border people till June.(KNS)
