SDH Yaripora in Collaboration with Hanfia Islamia Institute Observes National Dengue Day & Nasha Mukht Abhiyan

 Kulgam, May 16(KNS): Sub District Hospital Yaripora in collaboration with Hanfia Islamia Institute Turka-Tachloo observed National Dengue Day and Nasha Mukht Abhiyan on May 16 with active participation from the Health Department, Medical Block Yaripora. The awareness programme was organized to educate students about dengue prevention, health awareness, and the harmful effects of drug abuse.

 
The programme was attended by Dr. Javied Ahmad, Medical Officer RBSK; Mr. Anees Ahmad, Community Health Officer (CHO); Mr. Javied Ahmad, Junior Health Inspector; Mrs. Hateeba Gul, FMPHW; Mrs. Mubeena, Basic Health Worker (BHW); Nuzhat Nazir, FMPHW; and Fehmeeda Akhter, ASHA Worker.
 
While addressing the gathering, Mr. Anees Ahmad, Community Health Officer, highlighted the importance of maintaining cleanliness and taking preventive measures against dengue.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelHe urged students to keep their surroundings clean, avoid stagnant water, and spread awareness in society. He also emphasized the need to stay away from drugs and work together for a healthy and addiction-free community.
 
Other health officials also shared valuable awareness messages regarding hygiene, public health, and the growing need for social responsibility among the youth.
 
Speaking on the occasion, Mrs. Humaira Manzoor, Principal of Hanfia Islamia Institute, thanked all the guests and officials from the Health Department for conducting the informative session. She appreciated their efforts in spreading awareness among students and encouraged the students to follow the guidance shared during the programme for a healthier and better future.(KNS).
