Karnah Mar 22, (KNS): Sub-District Hospital Tanghdar has specified separate isolation wards in the facility amid growing scare of COVID-19 in Jammu and Kashmir.
While talking to Kashmir News Service (KNS), Block Medical Officer (BMO) Karnah said that due to outbreak of Corona Virus in J&K, isolation wards have been set up in Tanghdar. He said the move will act as quarantine facility which is fully equipped with modern techniques and arrangements.
BMO maintained that quarantine space have been set up in a separate building away from SDH Tangdar located in Dak banglow Tangdar.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
He said that three suspected cases have so far been reported from Karnah which have been kept in quarantine, two in their houses and one in isolation ward. He also said that all three suspects have a travel history who were not screened during travel.
Meanwhile the impact of "Janta curfew" proposed by prime minister were seen in border town Tangdar as well where authorities imposed restrictions on the movement of people and vehicles. The trade activities in the area also remained suspended. (KNS)
