Srinagar, Mar 08 (KNS): The sub-district hospital Sogam has conducted at least 850 surgeries in the previous year (2016), officials said.
Giving details about the surgeries conducted in the last year, the officials said under the supervision of Block Medical Officer (BMO) Sogam, Dr Firdous Ahmad Bhat, at least 850 surgeries of LSCS and cataract (IOL) were conducted in 2016 besides free ligations and normal delivers.
The date reads that 414 free LSCS Surgeries were conducted in the previous year. “433 total free Cataract (IOL) Surgeries under (COB), 162 total free Ligations, 1488 total normal deliveries (zero expenditure) were conducted in the previous year,” the data reveals.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
The data reads that all 0-16 year children were fully immunized and no pregnant woman was left without ANC. “All school children were dewormed and medically checked. All adolescent girls provided free IFA. 150 school children provided free glasses under COB and 500 aged senior citizens provided free glasses under (COB) to correct presbyopia,” the data reads.
Meanwhile, Director Health Kashmir, Dr Saleem-ur-Rehman appreciated the role played by the officials of SDH Sogam and Chadoora. (KNS)
