Srinagar, Aug 05 9KNS): The Srinagar Development Authority in continuation to its demolition drive in their areas of jurisdiction sealed an under-construction illegal and un-authorized structure at Nowgam bypass on Thursday. 

In a statement, issued to Kashmir News Service (KNS), a spokesperson said that the offender had took undue advantage of the Covid-19 pandemic and carried out the construction illegally and unauthorizedly. 

"The sealing drive was successfully executed under the direction of vice-chairman, SDA Dr Bashir Ahmad Lone. General public is advised not to indulge in any illegal/un-authorized construction whether residential or commercial without obtaining proper building permission from the SDA," the statement reads. 

it reads that any structure raised without obtaining building permission and land use or deviations of building permission shall be directly sealed and demolished as per the provisions of COBA Act 1988. (KNS)
