Srinagar, Mar 24 (KNS): Srinagar Development Authority carried out a major crack down on illegal structures in Railway Colony Nowgam and at Muslim Abad Dangarpora.
In a statement, issued to Kashmir News Service (KNS), a spokesperson said that the Enforcement team of SDA sealed 11 structures built illegally and without proper permission in presence of concerned Police officials from Police Station Nowgam.
The statement reads general public is advised not to indulge in any illegal and unauthorised construction. “Any such structure raised without obtaining building permission shall be sealed or demolished as per the provision of COBA Act 1988.”
It reads that the sealing of illegal structures was carried out by the Enforcement team of SDA on the direction of Vice Chairman SDA Dr. Bashir Ahmad Lone (KAS) in co-ordination with the concerned Police Station Nowgam. (KNS)
