Srinagar/March,20:  The Srinagar Development Authority on Saturday launched yet another demolition drive  near Kargil house and evicted illegal occupants. 
Witnesses said that the shopkeepers had constructed concrete tiles pedestals on main road and illegally grabed the Govt/SDA land. In a swift action against the illegal encroachers, the pedestals on main road were removed and subsequently  action was also initiated against the persons who had illegally occupied the SDA/Govt land at Parimpora Bye- Pass road side and restored the original position.
Authorities have warned the people residing within SDA jurisdiction that any illegal construction/encroachments on Government land. They said that  demolition drive against such construction and encroachments shall continue in future."The demolition drive was successfully executed as per the directions of Vice Chairman", said the officials.(KNS)
