Scores of NC Workers Join PDP at Habba Kadal Joining Programme

 Srinagar, Jan 24 (KNS) : Scores of workers from the National Conference (NC) today joined the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) during a joining programme held at the PDP headquarters in Srinagar.

 
The programme was held under the chairmanship of PDP General Secretary Mohammad Khursheed Alam and was attended by District President Srinagar Abdul Qayoom Bhat, former state Sectarary and Constuiency incharge habba kadal Arif Laigroo Party Spokesperson Syed Tajamul, District Coordinator Dr Ali Mohammad, District President Women’s Wing Sara Nayeem, and other senior leaders.
 
Welcoming the new entrants, Tariq Ahmed Gilkar Shabir ahmed bilal ahmed Muzaffar gogri  PDP General Secretary Mohammad Khursheed Alam said that the growing public support for PDP reflects people’s deep disappointment with parties that have failed to stand by them in challenging times PDP has always remained committed to protecting the dignity, rights, and aspirations of the people of Jammu and Kashmir.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelThe joining of scores of workers today is a clear indication that people are once again reposing their trust in PDP’s vision and leadership,” he said.
 
Former State Secretary and Constituency Incharge Habba Kadal Arif Laigroo, while addressing the gathering, said that PDP continues to emerge as a strong voice of the people at the grassroots level.“The enthusiasm with which workers from other parties are joining PDP shows that our struggle-based politics and people-friendly agenda are being widely accepted. We will further strengthen the party organisation in Habba Kadal and work tirelessly for the welfare of the people,” Laigroo said.
 
Those present on the occasion included Zone Vice President Habba Kadal Mohammad Sultan, Ward President Naiyed Kadal Farooq Ahmad, and other party functionaries.
 
The new entrants expressed faith in PDP leadership and pledged to work wholeheartedly to strengthen the party at the grassroots level. (KNS)
