Education Minister Sakina Itoo said the decision was taken to ensure the safety of students amid the prevailing situation.

The decision comes in the wake of protests reported from several areas after the killing of Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei in joint US-Israeli strikes.

The fresh closure comes shortly after educational institutions had resumed academic activities following the winter break.(KNS).
