Saner voices from all sections need to come forward for peace, harmony: Sheikh Imran

Srinagar, June 13 (KNS): Youth President JKPC Sheikh Mohammad Imran on Monday urged saner voices from all sections of society to come forward for peace and harmony.

Imran, in a statement, issued to Kashmir News Service (KNS) said that this cycle of hurting religious sentiments on TV is only aimed to benefit them monetarily, be it even at the cost of creating discord amongst communities.

He said that action, reactions & counter-reactions to such malicious propaganda will only further widen division & the state of chaos.

Imran said that at this point of time of misinformation and fact-twists, divisive forces and their malicious intentions need to be exposed.

“We need to educate and disseminate the factual aspects of the illustrious biography of our Prophet (PBUH) which is crystal clear that resorting to violence can never help to rebut these false claims,” he added.

He said that said; “Our Beloved Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) when teased and troubled by Meccans simply 'avoided them and it was always a gracious avoidance' as per Quran (Surah Muzammil) and that though Muslims should speak against such mischievous and fringe elements but within the framework of Islam.”

Imran said that Islam is a religion of peace and Muslims are always peace-loving and peaceful, so a Muslim can’t be violent because violence is simply unIslamic. (KNS)
