Srinagar, Oct 22 (KNS): On the directions of imprisoned Chairman Zaffer Akbar Bhat, women's wing delegation of the party led by Secretary Ruqiya Baji visited Betango Islamabad despite restrictions and curbs.
In a statement to KNS, Party spokesman said that women's wing Secretary Ruqiya Baji along with activists including Zahida, Amina, Dilshada visited the residence of truck driver Zahid Rasool Bhat who was martyred by RSS goons in Udamphur last week. Slain teenagers succumbed to his burn injuries in New Delhi.
The delegation expressed sympathy with the bereaved family and assured them the sacrifices laid down by the Kashmiri youth will not be allowed to go waste. They said that nowhere in India, a Kashmiri is safe and due to the ongoing freedom struggle Kashmiri's will be always targeted.

Meanwhile, a delegation led by Abdul Qayoom and Nisar ahmed visited SKIMS to enquire about the health of the youth who sustained critical injuries yesterday in Bijbehara during unprovoked tear smoke shelling.
Another delegation Abdul Razak and Farooq Ahmed visited Tangmarg and paid tributes to Shaheed Nisar Ahmed Wani and expressed solidarity.
Spokesman also condemned imposition of curfew, restrictions, use of tear smoke shells, pelt guns and detention of pro-freedom leaders.
He condemned continue detention of its chairman Zaffar Akber Bhat Syed Ali Shah Geelani, Mirwaiz Umer Farooq, Mohd Yasin Malik, Shabir Ahmad shah and others. (KNS)
