Project constructed at an estimated cost of ₹2.28 Cr
Srinagar, 18 Oct (KNS) : J&K National Conference VIce Provincial President and MLA Hazratbal Salman Sagar today inaugurated the newly constructed bridge over Nallah Mallori at Danihama, fulfilling a long-pending demand of the local residents.
The bridge, constructed at an estimated cost of ?2.28 crores, is expected to significantly improve road connectivity and ease of movement for the people of Danihama and adjoining areas.
Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, the MLA said, “This bridge was among my first priorities after taking the oath. I am delighted to see it completed and handed over for public use. Salman extended heartfelt thanks to the Roads and Buildings (R&B) Department team, particularly Executive Engineer R&B Dalgate Er. Farid Khan, Junior Engineer Zahoor Dhobi, and Junior Engineer Saqib Andrabi, for their dedicated and timely execution of the project.
In addition, Salman announced that work is already underway on several more bridge projects in the constituency, including those at Ganimohora Gandtal, Syedpora Bala, and Syedpora Sarabagh — all aimed at connecting the vital Dara Health Centre Road. These upcoming projects, worth approximately ?11 crores in total, are expected to be completed within a year.(KNS)
