Stresses on making party's mass connect programmes successful

Srinagar Mar 14 (KNS): The Jammu and Kashmir Youth National Conference Provincial President Salman Ali Sagar, JKNC State Spokesperson Imran Nabi Dar and Vice provincial President Ahsan Pardesi on Thursday asked the youth functionaries to get battle ready for the upcoming parliament elections.

The leaders made these comments while addressing an important  meeting of the party's provincial youth wing today at the party headquarters Nawa-e-Subah, Srinagar.

The agenda of the meeting was the forthcoming Parliament elections, party conventions.

"People across J&K have overwhelming faith in the leadership of Dr. Farooq Abdullah and Omar Abdullah and through the mass reach out campaign, we will act as a medium to repose that faith, Salman said while exhorting the YNC functionaries and office bearers to work diligently.

He further added, "We have to double down on our efforts to reach out to those in the age group of 18-30 , who will vote for the first time in 2024. To meet the challenge effectively we have enhanced our  mass connect programmes. These programmes besides acquainting our youth with the mission and vision of the party will also go a long way in informing them about various imminent challenges faced by the people of J&K."

In his address, Imran said, "Today the youth of the JK are being suffocated by the repressive policies of the incumbent  government and the looming uncertainty has created a sense of despair and hopelessness among them. The Central government's unfortunate failure to reach out and build bridges of reconciliation and peace with our youth has created a political vacuum. Through our vote we have to send a clear message to the powers that be and remind them that we will create our own destiny."(KNS)
