Srinagar, Apr 22 (KNS): Days after the cross LOC trade was suspended in Jammu and Kashmir, the traders associated with the trade on Monday staged a protest here in Srinagar, demanding resumption of the business.

The traders from Salamabad cross-LoC traders Union assembled here at Pratap Park while carrying placards reading slogans like ‘We Want Justice, Trade Chalao Hamara Karobar Lotao and resume trade, don’t play with our fate’.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel

The trader was earlier suspended by the Ministry of Home Affairs, department of Jammu and Kashmir, stating that the route was being used by “unscrupulous and anti-national elements” for sneaking in weapons and currency from across the border.

The mainstream politicians and traders here have criticized the suspension of the trade. (KNS)
