Salahuddin hails Shareef’s 'realistic, courageous' K-statement in UN

Srinagar, October 01 (KNS): Militant outfit Hizbul Mujahideen chief and United Jehad Council supremo Syed Salahuddin has termed Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Shareef’s statement on Kashmir in UN as “realistic”, and said people of Kashmir are basic partners of the Kashmir “dispute”.
In An emailed statement to KNS, spokesman of UJC Syed Sadaqat Hussain said Salahuddin while speaking at a special session of UJC termed Shareef’s statement regarding Kashmir at his address in United Nations General Assembly as “realistic and courageous” which has translated the aspirations and sentiments of Kashmiri people into words before the world’s largest forum.
The UJC chief has hailed Pakistan PM’s statement, said the spokesman. “With Pakistan PM’s historical statement in UN, the freedom loving people of Kashmir not only feel secure but their resolve to see Kashmir as a free nations have also strengthened,” he said.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
Salahuddin said that UN has failed in resolving the long pending issue of Kashmir which has resulted India and Pakistan waging not only three full fledged wars till now but have even results in loss of five lakh Kashmiri people. “Due to insensitivity and duality of UN, the Kashmir people are held in a quagmire of oppression and tyranny,” he said.
The UJC chief also said that bilateral dialogues between Indian and Pakistan will never resolve the Kashmir issue. “The fate of 155 bilateral dialogues is before everyone to see as they all failed. Similarly the bilateral dialogues will fail in future too,” he said, asking Kashmiri people to continue fighting the “oppressor” till dispute is completely resolved. (KNS)
