Kupwara, Feb 09: BJP Kashmir Media Incharge Sajad Yousuf Shah on Tuesday criticized the National Conference government over the recent budget, calling it visionless and misleading. He was addressing a press conference in Kupwara.
Shah said the budget lacks a clear roadmap for the development of Jammu and Kashmir. He alleged that the government has failed to introduce new initiatives and instead repackaged existing Central Government schemes.
He accused Chief Minister Omar Abdullah of deceiving the public by presenting these schemes as fresh proposals. According to Shah, the budget does not reflect the aspirations of the people and offers no concrete plan to address unemployment, infrastructure gaps, or economic growth.
He said the people expected strong measures to boost local industries, improve public services, and create jobs for youth.
