Srinagar 27 April (KNS):  Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Conference Chairman Mr Sajad Gani Lone has expressed grief and sorrow over the sad demise of Kashmir’s noted academician, poet and prolific writer, Dr Margoob Banihali.

In his condolence message, PC Chairman highlighted Sahitya Academy Awardee, Dr Margoob’s immense contributions in the field of literature, terming his demise a major loss for society in general and for the world of literature in particular. Mr Lone said that his absence will be deeply felt in times to come and void he has left among in the literary landscape of Jammu and Kashmir will be extremely difficult to fill in.

Mr Lone, according to the PC spokesman has also prayed for Dr Margoob’s bereaved family and other near and dear ones for Allah’s strength to bear this great loss.  
“Dr Margoob will be deeply missed. It is difficult to believe that he is are no more on earth. But our religion tells us that he is now in a better place with the eternal reward he richly deserves. May Allah grant him the highest place in Jannah and patience to the bereaved family,” Lone said in his condolence message.(KNS)
