Srinagar, Aug 19(KNS): Jammu and Kashmir People's Conference Chairman Sajad Lone on Thursday condemned killing of Apni Party leader Ghulam Hassan Lone of Devsar Kulgam by militants. 

Jammu and Kashmir People's Conference (JKPC) Chairman Sajad Lone strongly condemned the killing of Apni Party leader Ghulam Hassan Lone and said that the recent spate of attacks on mainstream leaders is worrying. 

"Strongly condemn the killing of Apniparty leader Ghulam Hassan Lone in Kulgam. Recent spate of attacks on mainstream leaders is worrying, " Sajad Lone said on his twitter handle. 

He futher said that violence only brings miseries to people. Such killings only create more widows and orphans. "These heinous acts must cease, " he added. 

Earlier, militants, shot dead worker of Apni Party at Devsar in Kulgam district of south Kashmir after they fired upon Ghulam Hassan Lone, at his home at Devsar this evening. He was shifted to hospital but was declared brought dead on arrival. (KNS)
