Srinagar Apr 12 (KNS): The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference General Secretary Ali Muhammad Sagar today asked the divisional administrations of Jammu and Kashmir to make ample arrangements for observance of Jumat-ul-Vida, Shab-e-Qadr and Eid-ul-Fitr.

In a statement released from the party headquarters, Sagar said, “Administration must ensure quality mutton is sold across markets in both provinces of Jammu & Kashmir and ensure that it is being sold at Government approved rates. Flying squads should be deployed for rigorous market checking to curb sale of sub-standard food items, black marketing and profiteering.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelAvailability of ration like Rice, flour, Sugar, K-oil and LPG cylinders in buffer stock on the ensuing occasions  should be ensured as per notified rates of standard quality. Uninterrupted electricity and water supply should be high on the priority list of the government. Municipal committees and corporations and local Auqaf bodies should launch a thorough cleanliness drive around mosques and shrines, besides ensuring that all street lights are made functional.” he said. 

He also asked both the divisional commissioners to ensure all basic amenities to devotees visiting major shrines, particularly Hazratbal, Khiramsirhama, kabamarg, Pinjoora, Aham sharief, Kalashpora and other shrines.(KNS)
