Srinagar, 22 Jun (KNS) : The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference General Secretary and MLA Khanyar Haji Ali Mohammad Sagar Monday inaugurated a state-of-the-art Stryker Laparoscopic 4K System along with a complete set of advanced laparoscopic instruments worth ?1.25 crore at Gousia Hospital, Khanyar.
The installation of the latest-generation surgical equipment is expected to significantly strengthen healthcare services and improve patient care in Downtown Srinagar and adjoining areas. The advanced system will enable doctors to perform minimally invasive surgeries with greater precision, leading to better clinical outcomes and faster recovery for patients.
Speaking on the occasion, Ali Mohammad Sagar said that the introduction of modern medical technology at Gousia Hospital reflects the commitment towards strengthening public healthcare infrastructure and ensuring access to advanced treatment facilities closer to people's homes.

Later, Sagar laid the foundation stone for the upgradation of a road at Anzimer, Khanyar, to be executed at an estimated cost of ?21 lakh. The project aims to improve road connectivity, facilitate smoother movement of traffic, and provide better civic amenities to local residents.
Addressing the gathering, Ali Mohammad Sagar reiterated his commitment to the holistic development of the Khanyar constituency, stating that both healthcare and infrastructure development remain among his top priorities.
