Takes stock of civic amenities, reviews development works; addresses public concerns in Nowhatta
Srinagar, 19 Aug (KNS) : The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference General Secretary and MLA Khanyar Haji Ali Muhammad Sagar Tuesday undertook a comprehensive tour of the Khanyar constituency today, aimed at reviewing the status of basic civic infrastructure, availability of essential commodities, and the ongoing development projects in the area.
In a statement issued, During his visit, Sagar was accompanied by senior officials from various departments, including the Public Health Engineering (PHE) department (Jal Shakti). While inspecting water supply infrastructure in Nowhatta, Sagar issued clear instructions to PHE officials to immediately initiate measures to address water-related issues particularly those concerning supply shortages and contamination. He emphasized the urgency of ensuring clean and uninterrupted water availability to residents.
Additionally, Sagar urged the concerned authorities to ensure that the Jamia Masjid Marriage Hall remains accessible for public use. He noted that community infrastructure like marriage halls plays a vital role in the social and cultural well-being of the population and should be made available without unnecessary restrictions.(KNS)
