 Srinagar, Feb 28 (KNS): Cricket icon Sachin Tendulkar on Saturday hailed the Jammu and Kashmir cricket team for their maiden Ranji Trophy triumph, describing the feat as a "proud and emotional moment" for the region and a shining example of the talent emerging from the valley.

 
In a post on 'X', Tendulkar, as per the Kashmir News Service (KNS), drew a poetic parallel to the Union Territory's famous produce, stating that while Kashmir willow has long powered the bats of champions around the world, it is "truly special" to see cricketers from the region holding the trophy aloft themselves.
