Handwara March 30 (KNS): The Rural development Department Langate on Thursday bid farewell to Work Supervisor, Khazir Mohamad Khawaja on reaching superannuation.
In the regard an event was organised to honour work supervisor, Khazir Mohamad Khawaja on his retirement at Langate.
Block Development officer (BDO) Langate along with officials from the rural department were present on the occasion.
On the occasion Several speakers highlighted Khawaj’s significant contributions in the challenging areas of Kupwara district. The speakers included famous orator Fareed Ahmad Khan, Abdul Majeed Bhat, Sajjad Hussain Khawaja many others.
Khawaj's relentless efforts were hailed by these officials and said that the department has constructed various development projects under his supervision.
BDO Lanagte praised his work culture, describing it as exceptional and exceeding expectations. His dedication played a crucial role in achieving unprecedented targets for the department, he said.
Khazir Mohamad Khawaja has rendered service of around 40 years across several blocks of district Kupwara in department of rural development.
The farewell function concluded with a heartfelt thanksgiving speech delivered by Sajad Hussain Khawaja, son f Khazir Mohamad Khawaja. (KNS)
