Ruling PDP MLA visits Shopian district
Appeal people to help in restroing peace
Shopian, July 18: Ruling Peoples Democratic Party legislator from Wachi visited Shopian district and took stock of the ongoing volatile situation in the town.
MLA Aijaz Ahmad Mir visited different places in the district and appealed people there to maintain calm and help in restoring peace in the valley.
The legislator directed officials to keep essential commodities available at the ration centres for the people, so that they don’t face any crisis due to the prevailing unrest in the Valley.

The legislator told the PDD officials to keep electricity supply on for the people in the district. He also directed the hospital authorities to keep all the facilities like medicine and other treatment facilities for the patients who visit the health centres.
The MLA’s visit come at a time when chief minister Mehbooba Mufti has directed the legislators and ministers to fan out in the Valley and visit their respective district headquarters and be present in their constituencies.?
