Srinagar,25 July (KNS) : The prestigious Royal Springs Golf Course (RSGC), Srinagar, proudly hosted the 2nd Club Tournament of the season — a Fourball Best Ball (Partner by Draw) format event — which began on 25th July 2025 and will continue for four days.

The tournament witnessed enthusiastic participation from 52 golfers, including lady golfers, reflecting the growing interest and inclusivity in the game of golf within the region.

The unique format of the tournament, Fourball Best Ball (Partner by Draw), added an exciting twist to the event, as partners were drawn randomly, promoting camaraderie and sportsmanship among club members. Each pair played their best ball on every hole, allowing players to strategize and rely on each other's strengths to compete for top honours.

The tournament teed off in the afternoon under clear skies and ideal weather conditions. The lush greens and panoramic views of the Zabarwan Hills and Dal Lake provided a stunning backdrop for an engaging day of golf. Participants displayed commendable skill, and several close finishes added thrill to the competition throughout the course.

The Royal Springs Golf Course remains committed to fostering a vibrant golfing culture in Kashmir and plans to host several more such tournaments and activities in the coming months, aimed at engaging golfers of all levels and promoting the sport across the region.
