Srinagar, Feb 24 (KNS) ; Noted social activist and founder of the Rouble Nagi Art Foundation, Rouble Nagi, visited Amrohi, a village situated near the Line of Control (LoC) in Tangdhar sector, to distribute essentials and interact with the local populace. The initiative was undertaken with the support of the Indian Army.
During the visit, Nagi distributed blankets to several needy families and held discussions with students from the region. Emphasizing the critical need to address the rising drug abuse among the youth, she announced plans to expand the foundation's footprint in the border belt.
"To empower the women and young people here, we are committed to scaling up our skill development, art, and digital learning centres across these villages," Nagi said.

Nagar also lauded the collaborative efforts of the Indian Army and the civil administration in promoting border area and battlefield tourism. She acknowledged their full support in enabling her foundation to work in the sensitive region.(KNS)
