Srinagar, Jun 11 (KNS): Teachers working under centrally sponsored scheme Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan (SSA) on Thursday held a protest demonstration here in Qalamabad Mawer demanding the benefits of 7th pay commission.
The teachers of Mawer zone in Lngate constituency of Kupwara district assembled here in Qalamabad under the banner of Teachers Forum Zone Mawer and raised the slogans against the state government for not giving them the benefits of 7th pay commission.
The protestors said that the state government is doing grave injustice with us. “If the state employees have received their salaries from the month of April as per the 7th pay commission, the government has released the ReTs’ salaries for April “as per 6th pay commission”.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
“The state government is depriving the benefits of the 7th pay commission for RET Teachers. We are working in a permanent posts in the education department. We have a proper service book and there are proper service rules for us,” the protesters said. “If the state government is giving 7th commission benefits to all employees.
