Srinagar, Jul 23 (KNS): A delegation of Rehabar- e-taleem Teachers forum met with Secretary Education in his office chamber at civil Secretariat Srinagar on Monday.
According to a statement issued to KNS by forum’s spokesperson Iqbal Bhat, secretary education Rigzin Sampheal called a meeting with forum representatives at his office chamber and assured the representatives that the implementation of seventh pay commission infavour of RET teachers is on cards.
He assured that government administration and department is working hard on the issue and the same will be implemented soon.
Forum delegation headed by its chairman Farooq Ahmed Tantary highlighted the issues and problems faced by the teachers due to non implementation of seventh pay commission and de-linking of SSA salaries infavour of more than 41 thousand ReT teachers, head teachers and RAMSA teachers before the secretary.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
They said that teachers are being harassed due to non implementation of the pay commission and regular monthly salaries.
Secretary education assured forum delegation that government and concerned department is working on this matter and it will be solved soon.
