Srinagar, Nov 23 (KNS): Senior separatist leader and president Anjuman Shari Shian Aga Syed Hasan Almosvi Alsafvi Tuesday welcomed the passing of a Pakistan-sponsored resolution by United Nations General Assembly with regard to universal realization of people’s right of self-determination including Kashmir and Palestine.
In a statement to KNS, Aga Syed Hasan said that this resolution will prove beneficial for those nations who aspire for freedom and liberty. "The resolution will serve to focus the world’s attention on the struggle by peoples for their inalienable right to self-determination, including those in Kashmir and Palestine," he said adding that Kashmir has been yearning for freedom from past 70 years.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
Meanwhile, spokesperson Anjuman Shari Shian said that Aga Syed Hasan was once again placed under house arrest on Tuesday. “Authorities allowed him to participate in a religious procession but shortly after he reached his residential house, he was placed under detention there,” he said. (KNS)
