Srinagar, Apr 19 (KNS): The suspension of 23 officials by the BJP Minister Bali Baghat holding the portfolio of Health & Medical Education department in Jammu on Thursday put to rest all the speculations that BJP ministers have resigned from the council ministers for a major reshuffle in the BJP part of coalition ministry.
On Thursday Bali Baghat suspended 23 officials and attended his routine duties as Health and Medical Education Minister.
An official press release issued by the Department of Information & Public Relations Thursday evening said “Giving a loud message against the slackness and absenteeism in the health department, Minister for Health & Medical Education, Bali Bhagat, today ordered suspension of 23 officials (including 04 doctors and 19 para-medics) in Chowki Chowra block of Jammu, and Sunderbani, block of Rajouri districts during his whirlwind and surprise visits to various health institutions”. Deputy Chief Minister Nirmal Singh and other BJP ministers were also seen busy with their routine official duties.

The ministers are doing their routine work but some vested interests are spreading rumors and we impress upon the people not to pay any heed to rumors”.
The rumours about the resignation of BJP ministers Wednesday this week KNS quoted BJP Minister holding the portfolio of Health and Medical Education Department Bali Baghat as saying “no minister has resigned. The media reports about the resignations by BJP minister are just rumors and a figment of imagination. There is no communal atmosphere in Kashmir or Jammu and instead communal harmony is prevailing in all the three regions of the state”. With the suspension of 23 officials Health & Medical Education Minister Bali Baghat has proved by his words by his today actions.
Moreover reports emanating Jammu also said that Deputy Chief Minister Dr Nirmal Singh and other BJP ministers are attending their routine duties as usual. (KNS)
