Residents of Abu Bakr Colony Bemina rue bad conditions of road

Srinagar June 01 (KNS) : Residents of Abu Baker colony of Bemina in Central Kashmir’s Srinagar district are up in arms over dilapidated condition of the road.

Residents told the Kashmir News Service (KNS), that the inner links of the said colony give nightmarish experience to residents and transporters especially during the rainy season as the road has been totally tattered.

"Only a little rain caused water logging in the said area, which as per them was the result of a faulty drainage system in their respective locality", they said.

They said that they have repeatedly brought these issues in notice of higher ups several times but on ground nothing has been done.

Residents however, appealed concerned authorities again to look into the matter and fulfill their demand at the earliest.(KNS)
