Says department put onus on public, but fault in within

Srinagar, Feb 03, (KNS): The people in Kashmir valley have alleged the Power Development Department (PDD) of using substandard material in power transformers, which results the frequent damaging and faults in them.
A delegation called KNS and expressed concerns over the frequent faults and damaging the power transformers in Kashmir. They alleged that the department us using sub standard and low quality material in transformer and later they develops faults in areas.
Even in the state assembly in 2015, the Deputy Chief Minister Dr Nirmal Singh, who have power department charges admitted that department will take stern action against those who are using substandard and low quality material in power transformers.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
The civil society groups said that government officials are only blaming people of using power ruthlessly, but actual fault lies within system.
They alleged that, even power transformers cannot bear a load of small villages and develop faults.
According to the Chief Engineer Shahnaz Goni there are 300 transformers damaged in different workshops in valley. (KNS)
