Srinagar Dec 03 (KNS): Jammu and Kashmir Bharatiya Janata Party spokesman Thakur Abhijeet Jasrotiya on Thursday said that the people of Jammu and Kashmir are participating in the DDC elections with a larger majority than in the parliamentary elections due to the repealing of article 370 and the people of Jammu and Kashmir have learnt that the Tradational regimes have only cheated them in the name of development.
Talking to KNS,Jasrotiya said that,”the sopore hosted first ever tanga rally of BJP, Where once there was militancy at Peak, people were terrified in the shadow of this gun, and they were taught to live under it. Sopore area,which is considered to be the stronghold of hurriyat leader, syed ali shah geelani recoreded 18 to 20% voting in phase 2nd of ongoing DDC Elections.So you can see that as much as anti india propaganda went on here, people kicked it out.
People are fed up with the carnage of the last 30 years.They need peace and tranquility. A new system has come and people are welcoming it," he added.
On being asked about Roshni Scam and Awami National Conference, Senior President, Muzaffer Shah’s Remarks that their Family is being Targetted selectively in Roshni Scam matter,he said that the names in the roshni scam are those who have grabbed land worth crores and billions of rupees.
The BJP Spokesperson said during the past over 15 months, people in the valley have ignored these mainstream leaders Who used Article 370 as tool for their own benefits.
"Both NC and PDP leaders are staging drama and expressing fake sympathies for the people by forming such 'people's alliance'," he said.
"They exploited Jammu and Kashmir's resources in the name of Article 370 and are now trying the same formula but people are aware of such tactics.
They have lost their credibility and the dynastic politics has ended with the abrogation of Article 370," he added(KNS).
