The day is being observed on 7th Shawal at the shrine of Hazrat Bulbul Shah who laid the foundation of civilization of Kashmir based on love and mutual brotherhood. Large numbers of devotees were present on the occasion.
While speaking on the occasion Renzushah said, “It was after great efforts of Hazrat Bulbul Shah Trust that new shrine was built with the spiritual blessing of great saint. Srinagar was named as Shaher-e-Khaas by Hazrat Bulbul Shah and in my various capacities while working in the administration I ensured that Shaher Khaas name is revived for entire Srinagar.”
“New generation should be made aware about the importance of our civilization which was stretched from Kashmir, Kishtwar to Kashgar. It was from the vicinity of Kashgar known as Turkestan that Great Saint Hazrat Bulbul Shah arrived to the valley and convinced Powerful king of Kashmir Hazrat Rinchen Shah to adopt Islam which is based on mutual love and brotherhood,” he said.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
“The arrival of Great Bulbul Shah and Hazrat Amir-I-Kabir to Kashmir on the spiritual command to valley of Kashmir laid the foundation for building the civilization of love. In my capacity as D.C Budgam I officially fixed the name of Srinagar Airport as Sheikh-Ul-Alam Airport which was even displayed on all official websites of Airport Authority of India, Indian Airlines and other Airlines. It is strange after some people suggested some names associated with wild animals all the boards of Sheikh Ul Alam were brought down. All the government institutions whose names are associated with wild animals should be renamed with saintly names as our civilization is based on love and brotherhood,” Renzushah added.
He also suggested that Leh Airport should be named in the name of Hazrat Bulbul Shah on the same way as Srinagar Airport has been named in the name of Sheikh Ul Alam. He hoped these names will be revived before 21st December.
On this occasion Javaid Ahmad Tota, Haji Zahoor and Haji Abdul Hamid were also present.
