Srinagar, Jul 26 (KNS): Chairman of Kashmir Society, Khawaja Farooq Renzushah Wednesday emphasized for making GST Kashmir friendly by keeping handicrafts, fruits, all traditional products of Kashmir out of ambit of GST.
According to the statement issue to KNS, Renzushah at Rangreth Nielit Auditorium at GST conference said that since era of Hazrat Bulbulshah (RA) and Hazrat Amir Kabir, Syed Shah Hamdani “our Silken and Handicrafts production have great Sufi background and our local sentiments should be honoured to keep all such productions including fruit and other Kashmir oriented products out of any GST or IGST.”
He also said that private vendors have started blackmailing people in delaying preparation of Aadhar cards by charging 500 to 5000 for each card while centre Govt is supposed to give it free through CSC centres.
Renzushah said all central government schemes should be provided through CSC centre to strengthen relation with people of valley, which is need of an hour.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
Ameerjeet, head of CSC GST provider services made detailed presentation of application of GST and IGST.
He said that GST regime will make every business and service transparent and consumer friendly.
Dr Shameem, Additional Commissioner Sales Tax J&K said that immediately after implementation of GST in the state, the Lakhanpore levy Naka has been removed and new GST system is being adhered in most meticulous manner.
Dr Moon said that all concerned organizations should launch awareness programmes so that both producers, manufacturers as well as consumers are made aware of all rules and regulations of GST IGST, GST Suvidha Providers (GSP) so that there is no confusion at any level.
The state head CSC J&K who organized this prestigious conference in which CSC representatives from all parts of Kashmir had assembled expressed thanks to all for taking such keen interest in this awareness programme which is first of its Kind in the Valley. (KNS)
