Udhampur, June 26 (KNS): On the occasion of International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking, the District Youth Services & Sports Office (DYSSO), Udhampur, organized a comprehensive awareness program focused on spreading the message of a Nasha Mukt Bharat (Drug-Free India). As part of the event, internationally acclaimed Italian painter and overland traveler Francesca Biondi participated in the proceedings and contributed a powerful visual message through her art.

The event was spearheaded by Sh. Romesh Chander Mishra, DYSSO Udhampur, along with his committed team, and witnessed the enthusiastic participation of youth, students, and members of civil society. Francesca Biondi, known for her commitment to promoting traditional values, nature, and community through art and dialogue, showcased a special artwork on the theme of drug abuse and mental liberation, sparking meaningful conversations among attendees.

Francesca also engaged with students and young participants in a reflective session, encouraging them to express their hopes, fears, and responsibilities in combating substance abuse. Her background in group facilitation created an open and respectful environment for dialogue and awareness.
