Srinagar, Apr 09 (KNS): Government on Saturday assured Rehbar-e-Taleem teachers of taking up the regularization cases of ReTs who have obtained degrees through distance mode within next few days besides addressing other issues.
The assurances came from the Education Minister, Nayeem Akhter who reportedly agreed to address all the pending issues of ReTs in a time bound manner. The decision has been taken in the backdrop of court directives.
ReT forum Chairman Farooq Ahmad Tantray told KNS that the representatives of the forum headed by him met the Education Minster at Srinagar and apprised him about the court order regarding the pending regularization of those Rehbar-e-Taleem teachers who have obtained degrees through distance mode from reputed and recognized universities.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
“The Education Minster has assured us that the regularization of ReTs who have obtained degrees from Kashmir University, Jammu University, MANOU, and IGNOU via distance mode would be taken up within few days.” Tantray said.
He added that Akhter told them that he had issued the directions regarding the same to directors of School Education Srinagar and Jammu even before they met him.
According to ReT forum chairman, the Education Minster also assured them of the immediate release of pending salary of ReTs and the transfer of female RRTs. (KNS)
