Srinagar, Feb 16 (KNS): Leaving personal Assistant (PA) and administrative staff untouched for years together the politico administrative top brass has rendered the prestigious pollution control board defunct for last many years now.
While PA and administrative staff have not been touched for several last years the key position of administrative officer vacated by superannuation of the officer three years back has been left unfilled.
With no administrative officer in place the personal assistant, Jasbir Singh of the chairman pollution control board is initiating the transfer files of non gazetted technical and non technical staff on his own whims and wishes. According to

The PA has been calling the shots for some time now thus performing those tasks that are out of his jurisdiction. This official has virtually discovered gold mine in the chairman's secretariat.
The aggrieved officials are upset with the working of the board has taken a big hit and continuing negligence of the Minister concerned and the administrative secretariat.
Repeated attempts to call chairman PCB and the forest minister have failed.
Officials of the pollution control board have appealed forest minister to intervene and overhaul prestigious pollution control board. (KNS)
