Srinagar, Jan 02 (KNS): Independent MLA from Langate and Awami Itihad Party president Er Rasheed staged a sit-in outside assembly over his demand for plebiscite for deciding the political destiny of Jammu and Kashmir.
Holding a banner showing pictures of slain civilians Mysera Bano, Asif and pellet victims Er Rasheed said "plebiscite for right to self determination". Rasheed alleged that Mysera Bano and Asif were killed in cold blood. "If Kashmir is not issue then what for Dineshwar Sharma has been appointed for name sake dialogue in Kashmir".
Er Rasheed stage a sit-in before the Governors address and later joined entire opposition in disrupting the Governors address to the joint session of the Legislature but instead of walking out to boycott the Governors address, Er Rasheed kept on crying over the demands on plebiscite, social media gag on Jammu and Kashmir employees, civilian killings, Panchayat polls and contradictions of the government on regularization of employees.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelTrying to disrupt the Governors address, he sought clarifications from the Governor on the situation which forced a militant killed in Pulwama Fidayeen attack to join militant ranks.
