Srinagar, Mar 23 (KNS): Inhabitants of Rambagh Wednesday staged protest against the recently implemented NFSA in the state and blocked the main road leading to the commercial hub Lal Chowk.
The protesters assembled at the main road and were chanting slogans like 'we want justice'. They were demanding rollback of NFSA from the state.
The protesters said that the government is rubbing salt on their wounds by providing 7ks of ration per head.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel"The administration should look into the hardships of rice eaters as 7ks per head for a month is insufficient," they said.
Demanding its rollback, the residents appealed Govenor N N Vohra to redress the genuine problems as soon as possible.
The residents later dispersed peacefully. (KNS)
