Handwara, Feb 03 (KNS): Residents of Rajwar Handwara in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Tuesday demanded extending Land Line service and Mobile cellular tower of BSNL in the area.
According to the residents, civil society members and Government officers, due to non availability of BSNL land line and BSNL mobile tower in area they are facing huge problems.
They said there are some offices including Tehsil office, ZEO office, Community Health Centre, Block office and various other Governmental institutions functioning at Zachaldara Rajwar and all the government offices are facing tough time due to non availability of BSNL service in the area.

A Doctor at Community Health centre Rajwar told KNS that none of the persons in the area has been benefited with the Golden Card Scheme since the internet services was shut in the Kashmir valley.
A LPG Distributor in the area said that they are not able to provide the gas documents to the consumer as they don’t have internet facility in the area.
People of the area are urged Govt authorities to facilitate BSNL service in the Rajwar area at the earliest.
They residents also said the BSNL Tower was sanctioned in the area 6 years back but till date it was never setup. (KNS).
