Srinagar, July 01 (KNS): Following rising militant attacks on security forces, Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh has arrived here Friday afternoon on a two-day visit to the valley to chair a security review meeting.
Sources in the security establishment said will hold a strategic security review meeting top security officials about the prevailing security situation and also with particular reference to Amarnath Yatra at the Raj Bhawan today evening.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
Singh will also visit the Amarnath Cave Shrine on Saturday as the Yatra will commence on the day.
Before, the home minister’s visit a three member team of Home Ministry was camping in Srinagar for three days to assess the situation and submit report to the minister the Pampore attack in which eight CRPF troopers were killed and 22 others injured. (KNS)
